Ryan Kelley will be our 6th Wolfcon guest!

Ryan began modeling and acting locally at the tender age of six, appearing frequently in Sunday newspaper clothing ads and numerous television commercials. A memorable guest star turn in Season one and Season two of the popular television series “Smallville” brought Ryan more widespread attention and many more guest spots on numerous television shows.

His leading role in the acclaimed Independent feature film “Mean Creek” garnered Ryan his most prestigious award to date, an Independent Spirit Award given to the members of the young ensemble cast for their outstanding performance in a feature film.

But his most celebrated performance to date was his role as the title character of “Bobby”, a young gay man driven to suicide by his disapproving conservative Christian Mother in the award winning cable film “Prayers for Bobby”. Ryan starred alongside Sigourney Weaver and the film was nominated for multiple Emmys and Golden Globes and won the award for Best Television Movie or Miniseries at the 21st annual GLAAD Media Awards. Ryan’s participation in the movie and it’s promotion took him on a cross country tour where he appeared in pride parades and at functions supporting PFLAG and The Trevor Project. Ryan posed for photographer Adam Bouska’s “NOH8″ campaign very early on, becoming one of the first celebrities to lend support and take part.

Ryan Kelley’s impressive resume continues to grow, these days he can regularly be seen  starring on the smash hit MTV series “Teen Wolf”, as young Deputy Jordan Parrish. What is the handsome deputy’s real back story, what “drew” him to move to Beacon Hills, and is he really even human at all? The answers to these ongoing mysteries will be revealed as Ryan’s storyline unfolds during the 5th season of “Teen Wolf”
